Nursing Students’ Knowledge towards Caring for Children with Idiopathic Nephritic Syndrome

Background: Nephrotic Syndrome (NS) is a kidney disorder that causes children body as well adult. Nursing students need to develop their knowledge about caring for with nephrotic through applying the comprehensive nursing syllabus in most schools order promote and skills provide optimum care these children. Aims of study: Assess students’ towards Caring Children Idiopathic find out relationship between demographic data (age, gender, educational level). Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted at University Baghdad / Collage Nursing. purposive "non-probability" sample (142) undergraduate (males females) were selected this study. questionnaire adapted reviewing previous literatures studies focused purpose The instrument comprised two parts, part one data. second assessed contained 27 items which rated three Likert scale scored follows: Yes (3), Not sure (2), No (1). Data collected using process self-administrative report via internet period 1st November 2019 January 2020. analyzed application statistical analysis approach (frequency, percentage, mean scores) inferential (Pearson correlation coefficient chi-square). Results: findings indicated have fair level syndrome, there no significant association age scholastic stage p-value ≤ 0.05. Conclusion: concluded students' acceptable idiopathic syndrome. Recommendations: recommended additional education programs are important improve syndrome
